I am working with Delphi (Pascal)

I am inheriting a Delphi program written with Borland Delphi 5 IDE. So, you may ask “why Delphi”?

The answer is Delphi was a great IDE tool to develop software back in the old days. I heard that a few key people who involved in the creation of Delphi had been hired by Microsoft to create C#.  Now as you know it, C# is one of the most favorable languages used in .NET, ASP.NET, WPF, UWP, Unity, and many others to write applications, games, and services.

The engineer who developed the program had been retired many years ago, and he has passed away in 2010. Rest in Peace colleague! Any way, now I have to resurrect this program due to thousand of hours spent in engineering several very specialized functions that are crucial to my organization.

As a result, I will start blogging and documenting the tips, tricks, and how-tos about Delphi/PASCAL in  my blog.
